Soy Lecithin Side Effects

Soy Lecithin, CAS number 8002-43-5, E number E322, used as nutritional supplements. Soy Lecithin accepted as safe food nutritional supplement in many food products. Soy Lecithin is a mixture of phospholipids in oil manufactured through water degumming the extracted oil of soy bean, available as Light yellow to brown colour, transparent or half transparent, viscous liquid.

General Side Effects

Soy lecithin overdose has been described as causing gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, diarrhea, upset stomach and bloating.

Suggested Dosage

As Soy Lecithin is widely known as safe, there is no limit on dosage of intake. However, we still recommend consumers to consult professionals before using large quantity of Soy Lecithin for long period.

Special Groups Precaution

Special groups refer to newborns, children, pregnant and any other applicable vulnerable groups.
