When you hear the term “personal trainer”, what strikes your mind? Do you envision them having a body like Dwayne Johnson “The Rock”? Or do you see them sipping green smoothies every morning? There are tens of hundreds of misconceptions these days about personal trainers. Without wasting any second, let’s set the record straight- The maximum number of personal trainers do not have a tanned and toned body, neither have they only drunk smoothies. Surely there are some personal trainers in London who eat, sleep and breathe fitness, but the majority of personal trainers are normal individuals. 

 

Its time to debunk the misconceptions related to personal trainers in London and across the world.

 

Myth No. 1: Personal trainers only take nutritional food: However, most of the fitness coaches enjoy eating a nutritional diet, but they do not have any problem in mixing a few splurge meals throughout the week. For instance, there are some personal trainers in London who follows the strict diet from Monday morning till Friday evening, and then they reward themselves by eating freshly cooked noodles or pasta or pizzas. And then on the very next morning, they perform some cardio exercises to make decent use of those extra carbs. 

 

Myth No. 2: Personal trainers spend most of their time working out: This is one of the biggest misconceptions anyone can ever have. Most of the personal trainers spend their time working out but not all day long. However, it is imperative to practice what you preach, but the maximum number of trainers only workout once in a day. Whether they are making workout plans for their clients or creating fun and exciting fitness challenges, it is not necessary that the trainer will spend his day just working out.

 

Myth No. 3: Personal Trainers love all kind of fitness exercises: A trainer would be lying if he said that he loves or enjoy every fitness exercises. Numerous trainers invest their time in recognizing what they enjoy doing, so they ideally stick to the exercises that help in balancing the weight and their fitness. The whole-sole purpose of a personal trainer is to understand their client's needs and provide them with different choices according to their likes and dislikes. 

 

Myth no. 4: Personal trainer never gets hurt: The trainer indeed knows the proper techniques to form complex exercises, but the truth is the trainer can also hurt himself by performing too many repetitive sets. In addition to this, sometimes the trainer can get pumped up and start feeling like a superwoman and try things outside the traditional exercises, which in result can hurt them brutally. 

 

Isn’t society is saturated with tons of misconceptions. These faulty beliefs can easily take a toll on one’s mind resulting in unattainable expectations, which automatically lead to failure, loss of hopes, and give up. So, do not pay heed to these myths. It is suggested to clarify your doubts related to personal trainers before heading in the wrong direction.
