Oatmeal, sprouts and kidney beans contain soluble fibres which help in the absorption of cholesterol from your bloodstream.

Exercise daily: Doing exercise on a regular basis helps reduce fat, which in turn removes excess cholesterol from your body. Make a habit to do at least half an hour of exercise daily, this would not only keep you fit and healthy but would also remove the lethargicness that you feel all day.

Quit smoking: How many times we have read this line but still, people tend to do the same thing again and again. Quitting smoking would solve most of the problems like maintaining HDL levels, decreasing the risk of heart disease and stroke and also prevents you from any kind of cancer – mostly Lung cancer.
