basically starts with recording on-location sound and ambient sounds. We can
manipulate sounds using tools available in digital audio workstations (DAWs)

This is called automated dialogue replacement or ADR, when dubbing artist or actor comes to re-record in a studio. Sound design can establish a mood or a tone. You manipulate sound, layer multiple tracks, bring some sound further into the background, and enhance them to create an entire world. As good visuals are required in film making similarly good sound is even more important. We use audio interactive software like Wwise, FMOD for designing sounds of games. In order to create a sound effect, we can start with the source sounds we want to work with. Some sounds come from personal SFX libraries or field recordings. When we created a sound effect then we bounce that element out as .WAV file format. We can design the sounds using multiple plugins available in the DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations).
