But when the drinks are hot, it dissolves better and more quickly and for sure the temperature or composition of your drink has no good or bad effect on shilajit properties. In fact, heat is helpful for assimilation according to Ayurveda. If you use pure shilajit with hot liquid it is beneficial for the body to better absorb and integrate nutrients.

Alternative Ways to Consume

A lot of people report that they intake this greater energy by dissolving Shilajit directly under the tongue. This is a perfectly fine method as the resin is highly soluble and absorbable just by itself. Ayurveda recommends taking shilajit resin with organic goats milk, honey, ghee (clarified butter), or sesame oil. The alternative way to take it is by mixing it with a tablespoon of Authentic Chyawanprash (which contains honey, ghee, black sesame oil and warming spices) in a cup of hot milk first thing in the morning for immediate nourishment.

Taking Shilajit with other herbs that work extremely well with it like Tongkat Ali and Pine Pollen Tincture and can help to increase the potency of those supplements.

Recommended Time

Drink it on empty stomach every morning for immediate nourishment. It fires up your metabolism, hydrates you, helps your body flush out toxins. Don’t take it in the evening as it may cause sleep difficulty for some people.

 

Side effects

If used in the right way and dosage, Shilajit is not associated with any serious side effects. If you take a very high dose, Shilajit might increase the production of uric acid in the body result is aggravate gout. Most of the cases which products you are buying either replication, contain non-beneficial and harmful fillers or contain low-quality amounts of the real substance. Many feigned products contain heavy metals, such as lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury, which can lead to kidney and liver damage. It is also possible that if you are taking an iron supplement and mix it with a low-quality form of shilajit that it could cause a build-up of excess iron in your system.

Few other side effects are burning in the eyes, sweating too much, having eyes red or burning sensation in the chest. It is only possible when you are doing irregular activities to intake Shilajit. It does not have any major side effect, which is harmful to you; it is a normal side effect which will be cured soon while taking it in a right way.
