SC'S Decision on Fresh AIPMT Examination Witnesses that Justice Prevails

Following alleged irregularities in the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) that held on May 03, the Supreme Court of India ordered CBSE to conduct fresh exams within four weeks.

A special bench of judges while addressing the issue said, "The examination has become suspect... There can't be a compromise at any cost." Fate of more than 6 lakhs students was at stake and this final verdict doesn't only provided a big relief to 6.3 lakhs candidate, but the decision also brings a smile on their parents who have worked equally hard in the preparation of their wards. CBSE should re-conduct the examination because it is in the favour of honest and deserving candidates.

Those who made all efforts in preparations, studied day and night shouldn't afraid of the re-examination. One who is prepared can be tested again and again. In fact, a fresh chance will allow the best candidates to overcome their shortcomings. Students in the mean time can further hone their skills, they can focus on topics which they couldn't study in the past. The revision and further study will enable them to take a fresh test with a new confidence.

We all are very much familiar with the age old axiom that 'practice makes one perfect', therefore, who are sincere about their career and want to perform at every stage of life, the re-examination of AIPMT is an opportunity for them, not a threat in any way. Earlier, the Delhi Medical Association (DMA) had requested the central government to re-conduct the examination, Alok Bhandari, the DMA honorary secretary said, "We appeal to the Indian government and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to re-conduct the AIPMT examination as soon as possible to safeguard the interests of the honest and hard working students."

Mr. Kislay Pandey - Financial Matters Lawyer, Supreme Court of India, also welcomed the decision of the apex court. He said, "The fate of 6.3 lakhs students was dependent on the final decision, and it is confirmed that there were some loopholes in the examination conducted by the CBSE on May 03. I hope all shall be happy now. Students should focus on the study, there is no substitute for knowledge in this world and as long as you are passionate to acquire knowledge, no one can stop you to move forward."
