Rising price on SSAW steel pipe

Sara got the late price of SSAW steel pipe late evening and the manager told me that “please change the price list immediately as the price rises too much recently”. It surprises me too when I saw the price for it and I could even see the increased price on seamless steel pipe too.

A week ago, in 2017.12.08, the Des SSAW, with standard API 5L, material GR.B, size of Dia(mm)406.4, think(mm) 6, length(m) 12, quantity of meters 1201, ton 71.16, remark of bevel, is 605 USD/TON for FOB China. We can have a view from the picture.

 

Now, the price, in 2017.12.15, has added 50 USD/TON for the same product and now is 655 USD/TON. Here is the new picture for that.

 

Some clients would negotiate with suppliers for price of various steel pipes. Actually, it is our skills to judge the trends of the price and get the considerable price for the steel pipes product we need.
