There is a drastic change in digital photography over the past two decades. The clunky DSLR has given a path to sleek smartphones. So it would not be wrong for expecting a similar evolution over the next ten years, as the science behind the art changes.

Most of the technology in use today presents the breakthroughs of the first generation of digital cameras. Though the films were stripped away and digital image sensors took its place, much of the rest camera stuff like lenses and autofocus systems of mainly remained the same.

In contemporary time, two significant trends are reshaping our expectations of digital photography.
Computational Photography– To improve photos, overcome the limits of smartphone camera hardware and to produce impressive shots, recent technology uses computing technology.
Mirrorless Movement– It leaves hardware which used to be compulsory for film and then enhances the image sensor’s importance, which overhauls the mechanics of the traditional camera. As computer processing takes over, the old assumptions about optics are being reconsidered or discarded.

The Lau Norgaard, Vice President of Research and Development at Phase One of a Danish Company which makes ultra-premium 151-megapixel medium format cameras said that cameras would be changing more in the next ten years than it has in the past decade.

Not just for professional photographers at fashion shoot but also the changes will matter to all of us. New technology will mean better everyday pictures and much more creative possibilities for photo enthusiasts. Everything from selfies, landscapes and to family portraits will merely start looking better.

Watching in 3D!

Nikon and Canon embrace mirrorless models!
Mirrorless cameras have been gaining our attention for years and here is recently what has been changed in 2018: Canon and Nikon.
Among the two DSLR heavy hitters, begin selling high-end mirrorless models- Nikon Z7 and Z6 and also Canon’s EOS R. Following, Sony’s lead, they arrived with large ‘full frame sensors’ that are best at taking color and light data.
Nikon and Canon aren’t leaving out their traditional SLRs, rather their mirrorless models will be its peers.
