 Installation Of QuickBooks For Mac Desktop Want help to install QuickBooks in your Mac? Here, we are providing quick guide and information important to read, before you go for installing and using QB software in Mac-
1. First, check your system configuration and software requirements and ensure that software runs on your version of Mac. Do check minimum system requirements essential for installation of QuickBooks 2016 & Enterprise Solution 2016 for the speedier installation
2. Go up with your Product number and the License number-
Downloads- The email confirmation you got on downloading the software must consist of license and product numbers for the program. Suppose, if you haven't got any type of confirmation email, you must speak to the support department to restore your license number CD- You may find product key and the license number in the scratch-off label that you got along with packing.
3. The installation process for Mac Desktop:
Prepare the installation-
- Download the software from the website of Intuit, select change link option and then choose Mac version. Or You may use CD for installation that you purchased from the seller.

NOTE-
   If you are facing issue while downloading the installer, you are required to clear the cache and cookies of your browser and then select the different browser.
4. Begin your Installation-
a) First, close all the running applications
b) Now, place your QuickBooks CD in your CD- ROM and then double click on the downloaded installer. The installation will then run automatically
c) After then, click on QuickBooks icon and drag it to the Applications folder. The folder will then open automatically
d. Double-click on the icon to open the application
5. Upgrade Company File-
  - After upgradation of QuickBooks Mac from older version to the new version, you are required to update 
company files so as to run it in an updated version.
   The method is as follows-
1. Open your company file in updated version
2. As and when QuickBooks asks you to upgrade your company file, choose UPGRADE as prompted
3. After getting the message, press OK
4. Check whether company file is upgraded by checking the balances, reports and the accounts For Multi-User-
     In case, you are using more than 1 user license, you must set up your QB software in Multi-User Mode to make sure that file can be accessed by all the users at the same point of time. Here is the method-
a. First, open Multi-User folder
b. Click on the QuickBooks Server Icon and drag it to Applications folder
c. Click on Authenticate and change the Application folder to put the Admin username and password and then hit OK
d. Open QuickBooks and open your company file
e. Choose Enable Multi-user Mode to share your company file from the File option
