PSG stands in the favor of Neyman after racism accusations

striker Neymar Junior after he faced racism from one of the opponents from
Marseille, Alvaro Gonzales.
The Junior was one of the last five red cards in previous
ill-humored Ligue 1 game, called off for getting physical with Gonzales.
Later, Neymar posted a tweet in which he accused Marseille
defender and requested the officials to sort out matters.
In response to that, Marseille explained the youngster from
Alvaro is not racist. Paris-Saint Germain stated there is no room for racism in
football, society in our lives.
In Monday’s statement, the French champions stated the club
is waiting for the disciplinary commission by LFP to look into the matter
thoroughly. They further added that club is available to assist the LFP in any
way possible.
Marseille also stated that the defender is not racist, they
can say that with assurance as they are seeing the youngster’s attitude since
the day, he joined the club. They further warned about the serious consequences
that these allegations on the youngster as his relatives are being exposed to
social networks and Brazilian Media giving rise to continuous harassment,
including some death threats as well. They also said Marseille always stood
against racism in French professional football.

After being suspended, the Jr. told the fourth official that
he faced racial abuse from Alvaro and later also pointed out Spaniard by saying
that insulting is one thing but abusing them racially is not acceptable. He
doesn’t respect such a person as they don’t have any character.
