‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ And Shah Rukh Khan Win Ghanta Awards

The most appreciated film, ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ which is directed by Sooraj Barjatya and starring Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor in the leading roles has also bagged the worst award. Sonam Kapoor was also announced as the best female actress for her entire role in the film.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’s title track has also bagged the worst award for being the song of the year. It is the family drama which has set all the box office records and grossed all the records of Happy New Year. Salman Khan gave two big openings to the Bollywood in 2015 while producing Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in the same year. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is also much appreciated by the critics and the audience respectively. But it Prem Ratan Dhan Payo bagged this worst award for having the family drama plot which ends up finding a soft corner in the audience’s heart.

On the other side, the 50 years old Shah Rukh Khan was announced to give the worst actor award for performing the leading character in Rohit Shetty’s film ‘Dilwale’. Although, the film did not perform very well at the box office but it has become the heartthrob of the fans of Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan.

Whereas the Bollywood filmmaker Vikas Bahl has achieved the worst director award for his film ‘Shaandaar’. Karan Johar bagged the worst miscasting award for the role he carried out in the film ‘Bombay Velvet’.
