You should always be aware of what links are attached to your emails you receive. If while reading your mail you feel it is not written by someone with English as their first language, you immediately should retreat from such mail and don’t need to click on the link provided in it.

2. Securing personal information on the internet

You should understand the potential risk in sharing your personal details like phone number, bank details or any other information on the website you are not sure of. By disclosing your details on an unverified website may lead to misuse of your details and which could have devastating consequences like deduction of your money to some other account without your knowledge.

3. Installing an Anti-Virus

Installing an anti-virus is becoming quite common in recent times. There are numerous antivirus software’s available in the market like Norton or Quick Heal, which can reduce the potential risk of any cyber-attacks and help in restoring any protection mechanisms. But you should keep in mind that as software has a new update, similarly viruses also have upgrades to still access the systems with latest configurations. So always keep upgrading your Anti-Virus software to counter such upgraded virus attacks.
