Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC 2017-18, Haryana: All You Need To Know

The Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Department, Government of Haryana has launched the Post Matric Scholarship for students studying in Class 11 onwards.

The Welfare of Schedule Castes & Backward Classes Department implements various schemes for the welfare of Schedule Castes & Backward Classes in the state of Haryana. The main function of the Department is to coordinate and supervise the activities of other departments in the matter of implementation of various schemes designed for the welfare of Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes and De-notified Tribes.

Objective

The objective of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to the needy students go to Haryana so that they can continue their studies.

Who can apply?

To apply for this Haryana scholarship, students must belong to SC/ST/OBC/EBC/DNT category.

Candidate must be domicile of Haryana state.

Their annual family income belonging to SC/ST must be up to INR 250000.

The annual family income of students belonging to OBC/EBC category must be up to INR 100000.

The annual family income of students belonging to DNT category must be up to INR 200000.

Only permanent residents of Haryana state are eligible to the scholarship.

Applicants who are pursuing Pre-Matric and Post Matric courses are applicable to the scholarship.

Applicants who are receiving scholarships from any other sources are not eligible to the scholarship.

Students applying for Haryana scholarship must submit following documents:

Previous year mark sheet

Income Certificate

Domicile Certificate

Caste certificate

Bank Account details

Aadhar card details

A copy of passport size photograph

Scanned copy of Bank Passbook first page

Scholarship award

Scholarships will be awarded only to Reservation category students. Scholarships in the range of INR 300/- p.m. to INR 820/- p.m. including reimbursement of a maintenance allowance, tuition fee, exam fee and other funds will be given to selected candidates.
