Pearson Test of English: Types of Exam, Eligibility

1. PTE Academic- Pearson Test of English Academic exam is only for those students who want to get a study visa for any English speaking country. 
2. PTE General- Candidates who are looking for a study VISA or want to get a working VISA can appear in this exam. It will test the speaking, listening, and writing ability of the English language.

The exam conducting body is currently working on organizing the exam in online mode. Students can take this exam from their home. This decision was taken due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The applying candidate can register for the PTE exam from online mode. At the time of COVID-19, students got a chance that they can cancel the exam and get 100% refund or reschedule the Pearson Test of English.

PTE Exam Eligibility

Applying candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria to appear in the exam before applying. In case any student does not fulfill the criteria to appear in the exam, then they can not apply for the Pearson Test of English.

Students or applying candidates must be older than 16 years and if a candidate is less than 18 years then he/she needs to submit their parents' consent along with the application. However, there is no limit on academic qualifications.

Registration

1.    Visit the official website of the PTE Exam

2.    Create a Pearson account over their using email id and other details asked there.

3.    Once you have completed the PTE Exam registration process, students have to wait for at least 2 days.

4.    You will get your login ID and password ion your registered email id

5.    Fill in the details asked in the form and select the nearest exam center and time slot according to you.

6.    At last, pay the application fee of the Pearson Test of English.
