The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) assures the reliability and safety of the products and services. It is also known as strategy business and marketing tools. iso certification brings about free and fair trade. It also looks into and tackles global challenges. Some of the popular standards are ISO 31000 risk management, ISO 9000 quality management, ISO 22000 food safety management, ISO 26000 social responsibility, and ISO 14000 environmental management. ISO looks after and believes in the development of society and environment. The popular known ISOs are ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 31000.

It does this so by giving international organization for standardization certification for food, water, sustainable development, cars and energy efficiency and renewable. It also looks into climate change. ISO is given for electrical products such as refrigerators and air conditioning units. Education programs and courses are also given certifications.

The certification can be contractual but it is a regulatory procedure. It helps motivate the company, employees of the company. It also gains consumer loyalty and faith of the product which has the certification. Overall, it develops international standards and recognition.
