Some pitfalls of online education:

1)      Online education is about acquiring knowledge through virtual means. And when we say virtual means, it includes the participation of various factors and failure or inertia of any factor deeply hampers the learning process. For instance, if a student is in dire need of finance homework help but server is down, frustration will only be increased.

2)      Secondly, online education isolates youngsters and students. Since, it’s all about sitting at home and learning at your own; many congenial people turn into geek and never feel comfortable in moving around and socializing in society which is not a good thing at all. Some day in practical life, one has to learn the art of socializing to make connections and networking.

3)      Thirdly, scope of online learning is still limited due to digital divide. In third world countries, information technology is yet to penetrate in rural areas and people are still not familiar with the use of technology.

4)      Fourthly, being an autodidact is not everybody’s forte. Some people need proper instructions and guideline to thrive in a subject. Whereas, these facilities are completely missing in E-learning and one has put more personal efforts and learning abilities.

On campus learning:

On campus learning is bit easy comparing to virtual learning. There are trained teacher ready to help and assist students at any time. Also, the biggest benefit is being the part of community. One cannot be insulated and combine study makes the learning process easier and convenient.
