Mass Communication uses different communication mediums like print, newspapers, television, books, films, and others to transmit information to a wide range of people. UG degree in journalism or other varied courses in this domain teach aspirants the process of transmitting information on a large scale to a considerable part of population with different mediums. The study of Mass Communication is also about studying the effects of the contents on people’s behaviours, emotions and views. Those who have passion for this domain can take up mass Communication studies at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in different branches of it such as Journalism, Radio, Advertising and Public Relations.

Mass Communication is not only restricted to journalism. Mass media virtually covers and touches all aspects of human life.
