The German brand's adventurous inline twin has undergone a major overhaul for the new season, and from early September BMW expects the 2013 version of its F 800 GS to begin reaching European dealerships. In fact the plans in the Berlin factory of BMW Motorrad are that the model year 2013 begins to be assembled during the first days of August, the bmw f800gs led headlight is best option for your lighting system, to join the "offensive" of new products of the brand that we know until now: the delayed BMW C scooters 600 Sport and BMW C 650 GT (>) and the "small" twin of the GS family -although it shares engine and displacement with this 800- which this fall will be renamed F 700 GS 2013; and surely other juicy novelties remain to be known, among which there will surely be several in the boxer range (>), as we have already been advancing you.

From its rear, the F 800 GS will continue to be similar to the model that is currently for sale, but in the face and in profile, the new features adopted to refresh its image will immediately become apparent. The front end is more prominent and the lines are generally more continuous and sinuous than on the BMW F 800 GS as we know it.

It will be available in three colors: apino white, Córdoba Blue (electric and metallic tone) and matt Kalamata metallic, a bronze with a matt hue.

More standard equipment and new options
The German manufacturer abounds in one of the strengths of its motorcycles, the equipment. The BMW F 800 GS 2013 will update some details with respect to the current model, such as the brake fluid reservoir cast in the same piece as the lever bracket abandoned the separate plastic reservoir. In the instrumentation, it adopts a new graphic, keeping the style of the frame unchanged. Of course, the LCD screen now offers as standard the reading of the fuel level and the water temperature, information that until now was only available by purchasing the optional trip computer.

Another novelty, and one of the most important points for this new season, is the arrival of a new low version, ideal for the short and for those who do not intend to use the BMW F 800 GS on enduro-type tours. The suspension travel reduction will be accompanied by a lower seat and ultimately the ground clearance in this optional version will be 820 mm., 60 less than in the standard version.

Electronics can now be more sophisticated thanks to the arrival of ASC traction control as part of the optional equipment. In addition, and as an absolute first in the category, the rear damping adjustable from the handlebar called ESA in the nomenclature of the Bavarian brand is added as an extra. The electronic regulation will affect the extension in three positions, the preload being adjustable by means of a manual knob as before, although its position has been revised to make it more comfortable.

Finally, another important detail that has deserved the attention of the Germans has been the seat, which was often described as uncomfortable on long trips and that precisely for this reason for 2013 will have a new, more touristy and soft design that will be offered as an optional version. All motorcycle and car accessories from China can meet your requirements.

Thus, the novelties of the BMW F 800 GS 2013 are not few and make up a completely revised motorcycle in the most sensitive points, making it more pleasant for a wider public. In this sense, BMW has not forgotten the reality of the market, and to facilitate the entry into the brand of new motorists it will also offer a version limited to 48 horsepower.
