It has revolutionised the concept and method of business.
The idea started with few pioneers like Amway which went into direct marketing in 1959.
Many have copied the concept and MLM companies have mushroomed.
The idea faces stiff resistance from traditional business because they feel it is cutting in on their market.
The concept is wonderful but implementation of such concepts have many faults.
Being people's business, each individual perceives the concept in their own way and project it their way. This many times leads to improper projection and false expectations.
No where there is free money to be made. One has to invest time and money. But the leveraging of both time and money is what makes these business sustainable.
These days there are many fraud business have also mushroomed which collect small amounts from thousands of people and then vanish.
It is important to pick a good business, learn what is required to be done, do it and get duplicated.
Good results are not easy to get but consistent right effort does get you results.

Great! You can put some time and effort into affiliate marketing and earn some serious cash working from home. I doubt any other legitimate jobs that take such little effort can lead to big rewards.
