NDA Form 2018 Date Ends Now and NDA Exam Will Held on 22 April 2018

NDA 1 2018 application forms are being filled till 5th February. NDA 2018 entrance exam is conducted for all those candidates who all are interested to get admission in Defense forces like Army, Navy and Air Force. NDA 2018 exam is being conducted by the Union Public Service Commission in various cities across India. The entrance exam is a national level exam, which is organized twice in a year which is NDA 1 and NDA 2. A huge number of candidates appear in the NDA exam each year.

NOTE- This year candidates could also have filled the NDA forms through mobile phones and steps to fill that are first of all, the candidate was required to click on Proceed to “ADVANCE” and then visit to the official website which is “upsconline.nic.in” and then, the candidate was easily directed to the application portal.

NDA FORM Registration-

The candidates who all are interested to take part in NDA entrance exam can go through the details of the registration as mentioned below-

  • Candidates will have to apply online in order to fill the NDA form
  • The NDA form can be filled in 2 parts which is Part 1 and Part 2.
  • The NDA form cannot be filled in offline mode in any case.
  • The payment of the application form of NDA can be made through online mode or bank challan
  • The candidate will have to upload the scanned images of a photograph and signatures.
  • The scanned image mention above should in JPG format and should not exceed the limit of 40kb size
  • The candidate at last will have to take the print out or will have to download the NDA form for future reference

NDA Form Fee-

Candidates can make the payment of the application fee through online mode which is internet banking, credit card and debit card. The candidate can also make the payment of the application fee through offline mode which is through e-challan of SBI bank. The application fee for the candidates of general category is Rs.100 and candidates of reserved category are exempted from make the payment of the application fee.

Eligibility Criteria-

In order to appear in the entrance exam, the candidate is required to fulfill the following eligibility conditions-

Nationality-

The candidate must be citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal and a subject of Bhutan or an Indian origin who has shifted anywhere and now permanently settled in India. The candidate can a Tibetan refugee who came over India with the objective of permanently settling in India before 1st January 1962.

Age Criteria-

Only male and unmarried candidates are eligible to apply for the entrance exam. For NDA 1, the candidate must have born between 2nd July 1999 to 1st July 2002 and for NDA 2, the candidate must have born between 2nd January 2000 to 1st July 2003.

Qualification-

For Army Wing- the candidate must have cleared 12th class or equivalent examination from the State Education Board or a University.

For Air Force and 12th Cadet Entry Scheme- The candidate must have qualified 12th class or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as the main subjects

Physical Standard-

The candidate is required to be physically fit as per the conditions prescribed by National Defense Academy and Naval Academy. Candidates are also required to have clear the medical examination which is conducted by Military hospital.

Important Dates-

  • The official notification for the NDA form was released on 15th January 2018
  • The last date to fill the NDA form has already passed which was on 5th February 2018
  • The NDA exam will be conducted on 22nd April 2018


Procedure to apply for NDA form-

In order to apply for the NDA form, the candidates are required to follow up the following steps. Firstly, the candidate is required to visit the official website of the exam conducting authority. Then, the candidate needs to go through the link which is related to “Part-1 Registration”. After that, the candidate is required to fill all the personal, educational and other details which are required in order to fill the NDA form. After this, first part of the registration will be completed and a registration ID will be allotted to candidate for future process. Now, the candidate is required to follow the Part-2 of the registration. Candidate is required to make payment of the application fee in online or offline mode and upload scanned image of photograph and signature in prescribed format and take printout of NDA form.
