         Naina Devi Temple: The temple is located north of the Naini Lake and is regarded as one of the sacred fifty-one sites called ShaktiPeeths. The original temple complex is said to be thousands of years old but the temple of Naina Devi was installed in the 19th century.

         The Mall Road: This is another famous attraction located near the Naini Lake and the road connects the two parts of the hilly town. The area is famous for its street food and also has lines of shops selling all kinds of handicrafts and locally-made woollen garments. The road remains busy throughout the day with tourists, locals and shopkeepers selling their fares and is one of the liveliest parts of Nainital. The road has been renamed Govind Ballabh Pant Marg but is famous by the old name.
