Pangong- Tso lake-
• Did you see the amazingly beautiful lake where Chatur lost his mind in 3 Idiots? It was the Pangong- Tso lake. This lake traverses its way through international boundaries. It stretches from India to Bhutan.
• There is a great site by the lake for camping. Most people who travel to Ladakh these days visit by the lake for camping. According to the rules people are not allowed to do boating in the Lake.
• However, when there is too cold, and the lake freezes, if you want you can go for some ice skating at the bank of the Pangong- Tso Lake.
Zanskar valley
• The huge mountain ranges of Ladakh and Zanskar will be the companions you will have through almost your entire trip to Ladakh. At times you might even feel intimidated by them.
• The mountains are so large that anyone can easily feel tiny around them. Although, the most important thing is you must enjoy the mountain’s beauty. There are steep terrains that are covered with snow reflecting upon the very heavenly skies.
• You can enjoy both an amazing sound and view, as loud river waters are rushing down the mountains giving out a great soothing sound.
• You can also have some fun around the echo points. Although every point is an echo point here, therefore you might want to shout and hear some echos ricocheting from hills.
Tso Moriri Lake-
• This place is an absolute painting. It is a canvas which is coloured with white and blue skies, green mountains and hills with now covered white tops, calm deep blue lake water.
• Which place can be better than this. Probably the Tso Moriri Lake is not as popular as the Pangong Lake but if you are going on a trip to Ladakh then you must visit this place.
Chadar Trek-
• The Chadar Trek is a trekking place where the piece goes for trekking over frozen rivers. The most famous of all is the trek over Zanskar River. Many adventure lovers visit the place in large groups.
• The Chadar Trek usually takes place during November when the river is properly frozen and safe for trekking.
• You must check whether all the surroundings are friendly enough for you to survive. This trek is one of the most adventurous and the toughest.
