So, let’s find out more why Motorola’s latest 5G offering has the potential to a flagship killer in the budget segment.

Stunning Display with High Refresh Rate

The budget 5G enabled device makes sure that users will not have to burn a hole in their pocket to buy a premium smartphone. This is because Moto G 5G Plus has a 90 Hz refresh rate. It also a 6.7-inch screen with a 21:9 aspect ratio. The resolution of the screen is 1080×2520 pixels with a pixel density of 409 PPI. The budget phone also has the HDR 20 feature.

Premium Software in a Budget Offering

Moto 5G Plus’ both variants are packed with Qualcomm’s 765 processor. The base model comes with a 4GB RAM and 64GB memory storage. The higher model comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal memory.  However, users might be a bit disappointed as they will not be able to experience a more top clock speed. However, daily usage should not cause a problem at all.

The smartphone comes with Google’s latest Android 10. The customized Moto skin makes the software identical to stock android. It also comes with Moto gestures that help a user have a delightful experience.

Dual Selfie and Quad Camera Setup

The budget offering is fitted with a dual selfie camera. The specification of the primary camera is 17 megapixels, and the second one comes with 8 megapixels. It also comes with a quad-camera setup at the rear with vertical flash right next to it. The four cameras at the back come with a 48 MP sensor, 8 MP ultra-wide, 5 MP macro, and a 2 MP depth sensor. The specifications mentioned above make Motorola’s camera game reliable and guarantees a fantastic experience for ardent photographers. The ultrawide camera will mainly work for landscape pictures.

Note: The dual selfie camera setup is a rare offering in a budget smartphone.

A Massive Battery and Host of Other Features

Moto 5G Plus phone packs a massive 5000mAH battery. This will allow the phone to run for at least a day before it runs out of juice, even with the latest 5G network connection. The fingerprint sensor has been designed on the side of the phone.

It is a relief that the Moto phone comes with a 3.5mm jack for earphones/headphones, 15-watt Turbo Power charger, MicroSD card slot. The phone also houses NFC (Near-field communication) for various contactless payments. The sensors also include an ambient light sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer, etc.

It is a disappointment that Moto 5G Plus is a little bit bulky with 9mm and comes with a weight of 207.00 grams. The phone comes with a plastic body, and it looks like a premium finish. The phone’s protection from accidental splashes will give it an edge over other smartphones and compel people to buy a budget offering, which will function for a long time.
