Money Heist, which is also known as La Casa De Papel is a popular Spanish crime drama series and is one of the most-watched series on Netflix.

When Money Heist Season 4 was released, the series quickly became one of the world’s most-watched series by defeating every other TV series. Since season 4 got lots of love from the audience, it’s just a matter of time that season 5 is released on Netflix.

 Season 5: Release date

Netflix has not officially announced the release date of the new season. However, based upon the release dates of previous seasons, it is being expected that the new season of Money Heist might be released in May 2021.

Money Heist Season 5: Cast

It is not clear at this moment whether any face will appear in the new season or not. But it is expected that almost the entire cast of the previous season will reprise their roles for the new season. The faces that you will see in the new season are Ursula Corbero (Tokyo), Alvaro Morte (The Professor), Esther Acebo (Stockholm), Itziar Ituño (Lisbon), Jaime Lorente (Denver), Rodrigo DE La Serna (Palermo), Darko Peric (Helsinki), Herran (Rio) and Pedro Alonso (Berlin).  However, it is believed that Gandia, who performed Nairobi’s role in the previous season, will not be seen in the new season of Money Heist.

Money Heist Season 5: Plot

There is no official information about the plot of the new season. The last season of the series ended on an interesting note when “Alvaro Morte (The teacher), Raquel (The Sweetheart), was seen dropped from the helicopter on the bank of Spain where they rejoin the group. The new season will pick the story from there and might feature some significant twists and turns in the life of characters.

But what happens in the new season only time will tell.
