Microsoft adds more Business Apps to Office 365 Business Premium Subscriptions

by John Smith Technician

With the increase in number of Office 365 business users, the tech giant is adding more new business applications to its Office 365 Business Premium and Microsoft 365 Business plans. Office 365 Business Premium is the most exhaustive and expensive Office 365 subscription plan for both small- and medium-sized businesses. To avail this subscription, you have to pay:

Monthly subscription- $15 per user/month

Annual subscription- $12.50 per user/month

The plan incorporates a full set of locally-installable Office applications that can be used for up to 5 PCs and/or Macs per users along with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Skype for Business Online, Yammer enterprise social-networking, and 1 TB of OneDrive for Business cloud storage.

Earlier in July, Microsoft launched preview versions of three new applications that the company decided to embed in Office 365 Business Premium. These apps are:

1.       Microsoft Listings – a way to publish information

2.       Microsoft Connections- an email marketing service

3.       Microsoft Invoicing- an invoice-creation service

At that time, the tech giant also announced that they will add MileIQ- Microsoft’s existing mileage-tracking application based on its 2015 acquisition of Mobile Data Labs, to this Business Premium subscription of Office 365. On 31st October, the company officials said that these extra applications were no longer in preview. Only Office 365 customers in US, UK and Canada can use it. Two of the most amazing apps that are included in Office 365 Business Premium are:

·         StaffHub for Firstline (customer service) workers for managing their schedules

·         Outlook Customer Manager- Customer management application that works within Outlook

Users don’t need to pay anything extra beyond the cost of subscription to avail the aforementioned apps. These applications have also been included in Office 365 Business. From today, the Office 365 Business subscription is now generally available worldwide.

MS Office 365 Business subscription has been tailored-made for small as well as medium-sized business customers who have a maximum of 300 users. This bundles together Office 365 Business Premium, some part of Microsoft Enterprise Mobility plus Security Offerings and upgrade rights to Windows 10. Microsoft Office 365 subscriptions needs a user to have Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 Pro (Creators Update) on their PCs. The case is same for Office 365 Business Premium. Microsoft Office 365 Business users will get five device installs of Windows 10 per user as part of the subscription.
