·       After this, follow the onscreen instructions and create a new password.

3.     Reset QuickBooks Password for other versions

·        Firstly, you need to open the company file.

·       Now, you need to select the company and then set up users and finally change the password option. 

·        Enter the current password in the given field.

·     After that, type the new password in the new password field and then confirm the password.

·        Tap the OK button at the last.

4.     Reset for lost or forgotten QuickBooks password

•       Firstly, select “I forgot my password” option on the login page.

•      Click on the “answer the security questions” and then click on the OK button.

•       Tap the close button and now the company file is no longer protected.

•      After this, reset the password window will appear on your screen. Along with it, you have to click on the Enter a new password and new challenge question.

•       Finally, click on the OK button and your file will open.
