Merry Christmas

by Cheryl Baumgartner(CITRMS) Independent Associate with LegalShield I just want to take a moment to say Merry Christmas. I personally celebrate Christmas, so that is what I say this time of year.



I also know and understand that many others may celebrate different holidays this time of year or no holiday at all.  That's quite alright but let us all agree on one thing this is a time of Peace and Love.

Peace and love only come with tolerance and understanding so lets all try practicing a bit of it.  Not just during the holidays but year round.  We all believe differently, Even Christians can't completely agree on a list of beliefs.  That's why you have so many denominations.

A couple of years ago I had a chance to speak with a young man that who happened to be Hindu but he had a wonderfully tolerant outlook.  As he explained, he could not say that anyone was wrong in what they believe. 

He described 'Divinity' as the peak of a mountain.  There are numerous routes to get to the top of the mountain.  The path he travels may not be the same path I was traveling, but eventually we would both make it to the top.  Just as groups of people can climb the same mountain and never see each other's progress they would all still meet at the top.

I think that is the most tolerant view of 'belief' that I have ever heard.
