Many kids find math is difficult and even frightening. But there are several ways you can prevent their fear. A great way to help your child to develop their math skills is introduce your child with various kinds of Math Games. These games are really full with fun and help to solve the math equation with entertainment. These games can teach your kids that math can be exciting and creative as well. The concept of math games may be for an academic purpose, but it is designed in such a way that students can feel they are playing a game. The basic purposes of math games involve learning the math by playing with it and simply underestimate its difficulty.

Different math games for your child

Dice games: Dice games are great math games for your kids. This game help the younger kid to learn how to count; whereas, older kids can learn and building their skill in quick addition.  This thing is portable and handy, and can bring during family vacation and children as well as adults can spend a good time with it.

Sudoku: Sudoku is a great game to develop your kids love for numbers. This game involves arranging the digits 1 to 9 in a 9X9 grid so that each column and row contains the number 1 to 9 only once. Though it’s a popular adult game but you can find very easy version of this game for your child to help them to learn logic skills.
 
Triangular number game: This game means adding numbers and connects the answer to the side that matches it. It helps to increase your child’s calculating capacity and acts as a brain booster.

Concentration game: This game is play with different cards and helps to increase kids’ concentration level.

Bingo game: It is another type of easy fraction math game, which is played like the original version but with fraction cards instead of numbers.  A “caller” calls out fractional words, each participant cover that fraction if pictured on their card. Participants can use various small objects such as coins, beads, buttons etc. to cover the spaces on their cards. The winner is the person who can cover all the spaces and he/she becomes the next “caller.”

War game: To play this game your kids need different flash cards with fractional amounts written on them such as 1/3, 2/3 etc. It increases the fractional addition, multiplication, subtraction capacity among your kids.
