Maritime Silk Road

The Maritime Silk Road, more commonly known as the "Great Maritime Silk Road" is an extensive trade route that has existed since ancient times. The existence of this trade route was discovered during explorations in the 18th century and it led to a great surge in the development of the Silk Road, which had an effect on all aspects of life in the region. Many people attend the festival to see the intricately carved wooden and metal books that are part of the handmade manuscripts.
