Male infertility And Ways To Prevent Them

Telling a man that he might be the reasons for not having a child can be a very frustrating condition for him. Sadly childlessness is a burning issue and seems to be getting worse day by day. Causes of male infertility:

As we discussed above, male infertility causes are various due to which the odds of fatherhood can be affected.  We all know that male infertility is a complex process especially when you decide to complete your family.  Various causes that lead to male infertility are mentioned underneath:
Medical causes: When it comes to male infertility there is a number of health issues and medical causes that affect the odds of fatherhood. At times, swelling in veins can drain your testicles and commonly this condition known as Varicocele. As a result, the quality of sperm may reduce or demote. Treating varicocele can improve sperm quality and its functioning.  Sometimes, the infection can also hinder sperm production. It includes epididymis, STI’s, etc. There are some infections that can result in permanent testicular damage. However, sperms can be retrieved in this condition also.
Environmental causes: We normally don’t consider environmental cases when diagnosed with infertility. But the truth is overexposure to certain elements like heat, toxins, and chemicals may result in low sperm count or its production. Industrial chemicals like benzenes, pesticides, organic solvents, etc may contribute to low sperm count. Besides this, exposure to heavy metals may also cause male infertility. 
Health, lifestyle and other causes:  Some other causes consist of taking drugs, alcohol use, tobacco, and smoking. Overconsumption of these factors can lower your testosterone level and decrease the sperm count. At times, stress can also interfere with some hormones that produce sperms. All the above-mentioned factors can have a direct or indirect implication on sperm health. Taking corrective measure can assist you to overcome the state cause.

Treatments of male infertility:

When it comes to sterility in males, the causes are not easy to detect or identified. But if the exact cause is not revealed then also it is possible for your doctor to recommend the appropriate treatment. However, there is some male infertility treatment available for the man facing sterility. If you diagnosed with varicocele then your doctor can suggest surgery to correct it. When the sperms are not present in ejaculation then also it can be retrieved. Apart from this, the infection can be treated with medication. Even after treatments, if you are struggling for a baby then your doctor may suggest you assisted reproductive technology.
