A long wire, usually green in color, is connected to the snap connector. Along with the green wire, there is also a coiled wire that connects to the wrist strap. The green wire is connected to the round connector to the ground of the wall socket. On the other hand, the coiled wire is connected directly to the wrist strap. A person who is exposed to the risk of electric shock requires wrapping a wrist-strap around the waist. ESD refers to sudden electricity that follows 2 objects, which are exposed to electrical potential due to the result of direct contact. At times, many electrical appliances explain the reason of unwarranted currents being ESD, which generally affects the electronics.
