Once again, there’s another Twitter Advertising Network on the interwebs. Many people think their website looks too scammy to be true. Well, we’re going to find out.
Similar to Magpie, RevTwt advertising are placed as a tweet, which is displayed on your Twitter Profile. There are no disclaimers for the ads, so your followers may find it hard to distinguish between ads and real tweets. Unlike Magpie though, RevTwt pays per click, not per view (a.k.a. Pay-Per-Tweet). This allows the system to be more open to click fraud, like Google AdSense, although their system in place seems to be able to detect fraud pretty well, by looking at RevTwt’s Twitter profile.
Anyways, back to the experiment. In RevTwt, I entered my (test) Twitter account information and set it to automatically post an ad a day. This Twitter account has more than 22000 followers. I was given the title of an “Elite Twitterer”, since I had over 8,000 followers (Which isn’t hard to do). Being an Elite Twitterer, I was given access to special adverts, wish paid more than the normal adverts. The highest is 20¢ a click, although the wherether the click is counted are based on a per country basis, which is different for each advert.
Simple math can show that if you tweet an advert worth $0.20 cents per click and get 10 clicks, you’ll get  $2 a day. That’s not much, but that amounts to $62 per month, or $744 a year! That $62 could cover your monthly phone bill easily, or it could even pay for a pretty nice meal.

RevTwt is a program that is run on a pretty simple premise. You sign up with the program, browse the ads that are listed on their site, choose which ads you want to display on Twitter, and schedule them to be displayed. There are different kinds of ads that you can display on Twitter through RevTwt. There are the standard ads, cost-per-thousand ads and cost-per-action ads. The cost-per-action ads can tend to pay more, since anyone who clicks on the link for this type of ad that you provide on Twitter must supply some information before you can get credited.
How many followers you have on Twitter determines how many RevTwt ads you can post on there per day. If you have less than 1000 followers, you are limited to one ad per day. If you have 1000 to 2000 followers, then you can post 2 ads per day; over 2000 followers means you can post three ads per day. You also need to be careful that you don’t just post ads on Twitter. If the ads are more than 20% of your total tweets, you could be considered a spammer by Twitter and your account could be deleted.
When you sign up with this program, you supply them with your Twitter account information, and when you choose an ad to display, the program will do all that work for you. You can choose auto-post and have RevTwt choose the ads to display for you, or you can choose them yourself. RevTwt seems is getting good feedback from the people who’ve used it. Of course, those with the most followers on Twitter are going to see the best results. Reports from members of this program are that they do pay, and in a timely manner. That’s an important thing. If you have a good Twitter following, this program might be worth looking into.
