Ever heard of logorhitis? Well, it is a disease caused by silly mistakes of a designer that completely weaken the joints of a logo. You don’t know, but because of your craziest mistakes, it gets harder for a logo to breathe.

Use of offensive symbols

To be very honest, it is nowhere looks cool to create something that resembles a body part. Since you are designing it for people, learn to understand their religious norms, and try to understand their culture.

Some cultures find it pretty offensive to use such images. Some logos turn out to be way too worst, and people find it offensive as a result of which they never for the services or products of that specific brand. To avoid this errors, build the habit of researching for each and everything.

Irrelevant colors

Colors are responsible for evoking positive or negative emotions. Moreover, there are some cultural believes associated with different colors. Some cultures find it offensive to use black color when it comes to food.

Black color depicts that it is rotten and one shouldn’t eat it. For instance: You are to design a logo for a restaurant. Now the people of that habitat doesn’t favor black color. If you use the black color in the logo, it would be the worst mistake ever. The business of your client will fall, or you can say that the black color will push it.

Similarly, the color blue gives an impression of something poisonous. Even if you don’t use the black color and go with the blue color, it won’t work in your favor at all. Of course, people end up puking if they see the color blue.

You make it too obvious

Don’t ever go for a cliché logo. Suppose that you are to tell the global presence, now you don’t have to make a globe for it as it will make it too obvious. Similarly, if it is a brand for a woman, you don’t have to represent it with the pink color. Your job is to stand out from the rest so make sure that you do justice to the logo.

The logo concepts that are too obvious are good for a trash bin. They are not suitable to be there on the website or in print. Your visual library should be rich enough so that you stop being a handicap and learn to play with the images.
