ListWire tools: Use squeeze frame to capture leads!

by Jüri Hass SEO and SEM expert
In this article I would like to talk about great tool, that is included to free autoresponder service - ListWire. This tool is called squeeze frame. It gives to affiliates an opportunity to capture leads by promoting any affiliate link. It shows Your subscriber form in front of the site, that You are promoting (see an example here). That way You don't need to build any website at all. Just use the squeeze frame creator, send traffic to it and build Your list.

Like I told, this tool is available at ListWire. You can register for ListWire here for free. To create the squeeze frame, first select the list (STEP 1 on the picture 1), that must be created before You can use this tool. You can use  the default list, that will be created in signup process, or create new one.

Now, the list is selected, go to the prospects page (STEP 2 on the picture 1). The navigation menu is on top of the page. Now You see new navigation menu. Click on the "squeeze frame" (STEP 3 on picture 1). On the squeeze frame creator page You will see a big button with text "click here to add a web form". Click on that button to begin creating lead capturing squeeze frame (STEP 4 on picture 1).

After You click that button, You will see options form. This is very important part in creating the squeeze frame (PICTURE 2)

There are 4 fields, that are important for Your new squeeze frame. I have marked those fields on the picture 2 (look above). The field #1 is where You can give a name to the squeeze frame. Only You will see the name in ListWire members area.

The most important field on the options page is the field #2. This is the place where You put Your affiliate url. It will be shown behind the subscription form and is accessible after the visitor subscribes to Your list or if he decides to close Your subscribe form. Either way, the visitor will land on the sales page with You as referrer.

Field #3 is for tracking purposes. If You are using different squeeze frames in different  campaigns, the tracking code will help You see, what channels convert best. In my example on the picture 2 my tracking code is "forums". The idea is, that I will use this squeeze frame url only in forums. Later I can look in stats, how many subscribers and how many views this squeeze frame will have.

Next two fields on the options form is for advanced users only. It is recommended to use the default settings there.

The last field on the squeeze frame options page is the "Browser window Title" (field #4). I recommend to use the same title, that is used on the sales page of the product, that You are promoting.

Now, when all fields filled up, just click on the "Next Page" button (picture 2).

The next page is where You can edit the look and information on the subscription form. Just write some call to action, like "Wait! Before You buy the "The name of the Product" fill this form to receive the full review of the product!" - something like this. You also can change the background and dimensions of the subscribe form too. If everything is done for Your form, just click on the "Save My Form" button and Your own squeeze frame is ready to use! After You have saved it, You will be redirected to "Squeeze form" homepage, where You will see the list of squeeze frames and some links behind the names - edit, get the url, preview and delete. Now just click on the "get the url" link, copy the squeeze frame url and promote it like crazy.
