Computer software development is the process of creating a software programs or application that controls the computer operations. There are some basics requirements needed to develop computer software like computer programming languages. These basics might not be easy to everyone, but they help a person starts to learn what these codes do to your computer.

There are various programming languages are available, those are used to fulfill requirements of individual projects. Not any computer programming language can do anything; some are limitations also there so different languages are used for different tasks. There are various different languages available like machine language and high level languages. Machine language – an assembly language is used by low-level engineers to design components and embedded computing systems while high-level languages are used to develop desktop and web based application development. ASP, C++, C#, Java, Perl, etc are high level languages.

Now the main question is that which language is best for new comers? There are some general rules exist for the new programmer to get a good start. Those who are completely new to computers should have to start with a language that is designed to teach basic principles with as little effort as possible. For example BASIC and LOGO programming languages were the first experiments to bring computer programming to the masses. Today is a language like Microsoft's Visual Basic, HTML, PHP would be ideal for a beginner. Those who have some experience can go with advanced programming languages.

Learning basics of computer software development, languages can be beneficial to one who wants to build a career in the software development industry because the awareness of how to program will help you to think more logically and also help to develop awareness of how computers work.
