On Saturday April 12th, fight fans will see the second instalment of the 62kg weight class as King in the Ring 8 Man Elimination series presents King in the Ring – 62 II.

In addition to a 4 woman elimination tournament and a world title match up the other exciting super fights top off what is set to be the card of the year.

New Zealand’s top eight lightweights will fight to become the last man standing in what is sure to be an exciting display of skill, heart, and determination. These 8 warriors will battle it out in a survival series of explosive, three-round, elimination fights to get their hands on the coveted King in the Ring 62kg crown.

May 2012 saw Sone ‘Arch Angel’ Vannathy take the crown, and April 12th will see him defend it. With a mix of the well-seasoned experienced fighters, and the promising new blood, this looks to be yet another stellar night of K-1 style action.

King in the Ring lets New Zealand’s top stand up fighters square off, bringing together their own techniques born from Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Kung Fu, Karate, and other martial arts to be fought under international K-1 rules.
