King’s George Medical University is one of the renowned Medical Institutes in Northern India. The university is located in the heart city of the Uttar Pradesh state – Lucknow. The university was established in the year 1911 and recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) & Medical Council of India (MCI). Prof DK Gupta is the current principal of the university.

King’s George Medical University Admission 2019

The King George’s Medical University (KGMU) offers MBBS, BDS in six disciplines and B.Sc program at the Undergraduate level. Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with PCB and English from a recognized board with an aggregate of at least 50% marks to pursue Undergraduate courses from the university. Admission to MBBS and BDS courses will be granted based on the score obtained in NEET 2019. For B.Sc program, admission will be offered based on Merit/ Interview and or Test organized by KGMU.

King George Medical University offers MD, MS, MDS, MHA and PGD courses at the Postgraduate level. Students seeking admission to MD, MS, MDS and PGD courses must hold a MBBS degree from a recognized university. For MHA course, candidates must hold a BDS/ MBBS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BPT/ BHA/ B.Optom/ BASLP/ B.Sc Nursing with an aggregate of at least 50% marks. Admission to MD, MS, MDS and PGD courses will be granted based on score obtained in UP PGMEE for 85% of the seats and NEET Postgraduate for 15% of the seats. Admission to MHA program will be offered based on the Merit/ Interview or Test organized by KGMU.
