Kerala is Truly the Best Holiday Destination in India

Kerala is named as one of the “ten paradises of the world” and “50 must see destination of a lifetime”. Travel and Leisure also described it as “one of the 100 great trips for the 21st century”. Kerala beaches, backwaters, lakes, mountain ranges, waterfalls and wildlife sanctuaries are major attractions for domestic and international tourists.

Kerala, a state on India’s tropical Malabar Coast, has nearly 600km of Arabian Sea shoreline. It’s known for its palm-lined beaches and its backwaters. It has many seaside resorts include specialists in Ayurvedic treatments attracts millions of visitors from around the world each year. The outstanding beaches, the mountains and natural channels and lakes add more beauty to this place. It is also a very easy and comfortable place to travel. It has many names, some call it as the ‘land of coconuts’, ‘land of spices’ while some call it as ‘land of Elephants’!. It is indeed incredible with its unique geographical features, rich cultural tradition and history made it a popular holiday packages in India.

Kerala is truly a paradise of India. The pace of life is slow, but there is a good health care, excellent education with a 93% literacy rate, and no corruption. It is the perfect place to start for the tourist exploring India.

Reaching here by air from across the world is easy. There are three international airports located in Kerala that connects ‘God’s own country’ to major international cities. Whereas Thiruvananthapuram International Airport is located in the southern part of Kerala, Kochi International Airport is located in the central part of Kerala. Up North, Calicut International Airport is also connected to both India as well as international cities via flights.

It is sure that you will be enchanted by an over-abundance of beauty: between the Arabian Sea and the mountainous Western Ghats lie its stunning white sand beaches, lust tropical greenery, and a huge labyrinth of interconnected channels, lagoons and lakes- the Kerala Backwaters. So, it is known by local as “God’s Own Country”.
