by Czarina R. Content Manager and SEO

I’ve been blogging using wordpress blog for nearly a decade now, howbeit there were 3 years in between that I stopped! But without a doubt it’s been my passion as I’ve been able to make a full time living from it since.

Note: This is not a get rick quick article. I will just share with you some of the things you can do to start a wordpress blog in 2020. Even in the face of this corona virus lockdowns.

With the power of the Internet, and now mobile phones, audiences around the globe are able to read your content, comment, and ultimately you can make money from it.

10 years ago it was a bit challenging to start a website. You needed a couple hundred dollars, a lot of time, and understand at least the basics of coding and setting up web servers. Now, that’s a thing of the past.

Wordpress has leveled the playing field for all blogging enthusiast. Anyone from around the world, as long as he/she has access to the internet, will be able to do it. To earn a living though is a different story reserve for another topic. This short piece' aim is to point you to some resource so that you can start blogging in no time using wordpress blog.

Regardless of your experience working online, you can setup your own blog here by going to this really cool hosting service which I am using.

Why do I use them as my choice of wordpress blog?

The answer is simple and yet complex.

When I was starting out, it was difficult to get a really good hosting provider. It used to be expensive from my point at least. But then it started to get cheaper and cheaper with new web hosting buisnesses opening everywhere. People started buying hosting services like crazy. Then the reality strike! Majority of those hosting services could not handle the demand of a growing internet users population. I was one of those who got frustrated with the slow bandwidth and inefficient hosting service providers. I switched providers almost every year. And finally after 3 years of staying away from it.

I found Namehero wordpress hosting service. to be the best there is. Don't take my word for it.

The first thing that caught my attention with this company is their focus and attention to speed and performance. For me, speed and performance is everything. No matter how beautiful your website is and your contents are, if your server is slow, google will not rank you high, and secondly, your users will hate it, and as a result they will have a really bad experience with you. For users today, experience is a huge reason to come back to a website.

Users today see slow websites as spammy and unreliable. Who would want a website like that?

Below is a video presentation from Namehero, it tackles a short but important topic on how to start your blog. While the year it was released is 2016, the method has not changed ever. Go check it out.

One important thing to consider as you start blogging this 2020 is that, you will need help in your marketing strategies. Emailing system has been one of the best source of visitors for many years. There are a bunch of systems out there in the web. Aweber is one of the best if not the best of them.
