JIK Industries- A Brief Outlook
JIK Industries Limited (JIK) is one of the leading producer as well as distributor of crystal and hand-made artistic glasswares Nationwide. The world-class crystal and glassware products of the Company are inspired by the global art glass designs and they are combined with traditional Indian craft to create products that embody an illustrious global fusion element in its entire product range. This elaborated design process is handled by highly skilled artisans and designers. The finished products are unique and outstanding. The product portfolio is wide and dynamic as the Company’s aim is to capture the hues and trends of an ever changing world. The Company’s specialty lies in making new-age coloured crystal which is in sync with global fashion and lifestyle trends.
JIK Industries is a Public Limited, listed Company. It was founded in the year 1990 and went Public in 1994. It is listed on the major stock exchanges of India such as Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE).

Production and Design
The Company follows the traditional method where handmade crystal and glassware are produced with the help of blowpipes. This process is practiced almost globally because of the flexibility it provides in working and maintaining the high quality standards for production of crystal and glassware. Once this hot process of producing the glassware is completed, the articles go through a cold process, which includes grinding, beveling, polishing, and if required, cutting before the articles are ready.
Glass, as an artistic medium, becomes more appealing since it can be hand painted, sandblasted, etched, fused and casted to create an almost infinite number of tones and designs. The process of spraying the glass with various grades of sand or grit in a jet of air is known as sandblasting and gives the surface a translucent frosted appearance. Glass can be cut ground or else polished to give design, smoothness, or texture.
The Company has specialist in-house designers who are specially trained to create new work of art, keeping in mind the trends that are in vogue, and latest styles in home and office décor, corporate gifting, as well as jewellery & fashion.
