You will often get to hear that real men don’t like wearing jewelry. Sure, many guys aren’t really comfortable when it comes to wearing jewelry and there is also a right and wrong way to do it. However, wearing jewelry whether it is a Black Dog Tag or a chain is all about confidence.

Many make mistakes when wearing jewelry. Here are some of the mistakes that men make when they put on men jewelry.

1.    Not Wearing it with Confidence

Being a man of style, it is okay to push the boundaries a little. Several men don’t like putting on jewelry like a mens leather bracelets braided or a chain because they are not confident in it.

You can visit a department store or a jeweler and try on the stuff. It is known as window shopping. If you do this, you are going to get used to how they look in pieces.

Many of the professionals at the jewelry store are highly knowledgeable about the product they offer. This is often going to be a pleasant experience. This is primarily about building your confidence and you can only do this by going out there and experimenting.

In case you think you are not confident enough, you can try out a few crisp and clean pieces like a black dog tag. If you start by trying mens leather bracelets braided and rings that are highly ornate, you might get turned off. So, you need to keep it simple at the beginning and then you can move on to more elaborate items.

2.    Over-Accessorizing

You need to know how much jewelry is too much. There is an old adage that the last thing that you on and the first thing that you are going to see is jewelry.

Remember, nothing should be more overpowering than the clothes that you are wearing. Every accessory that you put on should complement each other and also your look.

3.    Wearing Unbalanced Jewelry

When jewelry is unbalanced it is as bad as over-accessorizing. This can draw a lot of attention to one part or side of the body.

A great example is a necklace like a black dog tag. Some men will stack two or three more neckpieces along with it. However, this can throw off the whole look. This is because the onlooker’s eye is primarily fixed on the jewelry that you have put on instead of the entire outfit. Also, when you stack them, it can crowd the neckline. This is not the right way to wear necklaces.
