JEE Main 2016 Result to be out on 27 April

JEE Main 2016 Result will be released on 27 April 2016. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be releasing the result on their official website. On the basis of this result, candidates those who are eligible for JEE Advanced 2015 will be selected. JEE Main is one phase of joint entrance examination and the candidates those who qualify the exam and score marks as per the CBSE criteria to appear in JEE Advanced can appear in second phase as well. Candidates can take admission on the basis of JEE Main 2015 Result as a huge number of colleges accept Mains result to admit candidates in various courses.

In result, candidates will be able to check their marks they scored in the exam. Marks will be provided on the basis of JEE Main score and normalized score of class XII in ratio of 60:40. Candidates those who appeared in the exam can check their result on the website by entering their roll number of JEE Main 2016 and birth date as well. After the result declaration, cutoff marks will also be released by CBSE. Candidates those who score marks more than cutoff marks and also fulfills the other required criteria will be able to appear in JEE Advanced 2016 exam. There is no other method to check the exact marks until the JEE Main 2016 Result is declared officially. Though candidates can make use of answer key to check their answer calculate their marks but these marks are just estimate and cannot be treated as final.

A huge number of candidates appeared in JEE Main 2015 but only few will be selected for JEE Advanced 2015. As per the rules of CBSE only 1,50,000 applicants, out of the total applied, will be selected for JEE Advanced exam. Candidates will have to register themselves for JEE Advanced 2015 if they have qualified the JEE Main 2016 exam and wish to appear for JEE Advanced 2016 as well. Registration process will start in May 2015. Candidates will have to provide their details to register themselves.

JEE Main 2016 Result will be available for all the candidates those who appeared in the exam, irrespective of the fact whether they have qualified the exam or not. Before the official declaration of result, candidates can check their answers by downloading the answer key. In answer key they will find answers to all the questions that has been asked in the exam. They can use that answer key and calculate their appropriate marks.
