Is your SEO acceptable by Google?

by Rajesh K. Web Design & SEO Consultant

The recent years have brought many transformations in Google’s ways of handling content. The alterations, though, have generated nothing but new tactics for webmasters to handle the content on their websites. What keeps you in the race of search engines today is a good SEO. Just pushing a thought to it, this article will take you to what you think of your websites SEO and where Google put it.

How Copying affect SEO?

Yet, people care a lot about copied content but considering realistically there are thousands of websites that top the search engines even after having 20 to 30 percent of their content copied. How is that possible even after Google’s strict policies for copied content? The reason is that not all copied content is spam.

Years have gone and Google have worked hard to find and list just the origin of the content required. Of course, it does not want the users to find the same content in its top searches, which certainly will result in a bad user experience. Google collects all the pages having identical data and put the one with first post of that content. However, if the user demands all the pages with that content using a filter down the page, then Google displays them all. So duplicate content does exist, it is no big deal, but how, let us see.

If a copied post is with double quotes and at the end, you have a link of the source website then you are certainly working in a great way to improve your search engine rankings. At the same time, people who change it completely very poorly are ruining the search engine rankings. Moreover, spam is only when you completely put the lines as it is from one site to another.

Quality of the Content

Google also eyes for some other things that are important as well as required if you want to maintain a good search engine rank. If your content is not good enough quality wise, which means the target audience does not understand your language then that might lower your number of visitors. Ultimately, you will have a lower search engine rank. Google tries to figure out what subject exactly your website is based on and all observations are from your website content. So it is better you have a SEO which Google accepts.

URLs with Keywords

Furthermore, how stuffing keywords in URLs can help, and what Google thinks about the keywords in URLs, let us find out. It is common sense that the URL should resemble what is in the page. Even if Google algorithms have changed, using keywords in URLs still result the same. It helped the sites to get good traffic before and it helps now too. Panda update of course is intelligent enough for idiot stuffing still keywords in URLs by big brands as well as small brands are getting them good ranks too. However, long URLs never get you what you want.

Bottom Line: There is no certainty, what good SEO is and what poor SEO is, but a smart and to-the-point content certainly brings you good rankings. The duplicate content or any other thing is acceptable by Google, unless you are not using it illegally and working under the terms and conditions of Google.
