What is Nephrotic syndrome?
Nephrotic syndrome is not a primary disease but a collection of symptoms that when unmanaged, point towards nephrotic syndrome.  Nephrotic syndrome Ayurvedic treatment will bring relief to the symptoms of the disease. The symptoms of nephrotic syndrome are-

  • Too much protein in the urine
  • Low blood albumin levels
  • Swelling in the legs and feet
  • High levels of fat and cholesterol in the blood
  • Weight gain
  • Fatigue
  • Loss of appetite
  • Foamy urine
  • Puffiness of the eyes
Nephrotic syndrome is characterized when the urine contains too much protein. It is a rare condition and is not seen in many patients.  Too much protein in the urine can be a result of innumerable reasons. There are tiny blood vessels in the kidneys known as glomeruli. These glomeruli help in the filtration of harmful toxins and excess of minerals and proteins in your blood. Damage to the glomeruli can cause the blood protein, which mainly consists of albumin, leads to too much albumin in the urine. Kidneys can lose their effectiveness over a period of time and their most important function, i.e., filtration is not carried out properly. Thus, the chemical composition of the blood changes. Nephrotic syndrome Ayurvedic medicine is helpful after correct diagnosis. Ayurveda is an ancient Hindu science, the mention of which is found in Atharva Veda. Practitioners of Ayurveda claim that it is capable of treating multiple deadly diseases, which the allopath cannot cure.
There is retention of salt and potassium as the sodium-potassium cycle is disrupted because of damage to the kidneys. Kidneys can be damaged due to a number of reasons. These include:

  • Injury or shock to the kidneys
  • Existing heart disease
  • Diabetes
  • Hypertension
  • Dehydration
  • Insufficient amount of fiber
  • Certain medicines like ibuprofen and analgesics
  • Regular consumption of alcohol
Determining nephrotic syndrome-
There are a number of ways to diagnose nephrotic syndrome:

  • Urine test: urine sample can help determine any abnormalities in the kidneys and the amount of urine present
  • Blood test: blood sample works like a urine test because it can also measure the amount of protein in the blood.
  • Biopsy: a small kidney tissue is removed to see whether there is any problem with the kidneys. It is a simple procedure.
There can be a number of causes for nephrotic syndrome to occur, these include:

  • Lupus
  • Erythematosus
  • Membranous glomerulonephritis
  • Focal segmental glomerulosclerosis
  • Membranous nephropathy
  • Amyloidosis
  • Minimal change disease
  • Diabetic kidney disease
Ayurvedic medicines make use of herbs, which are not found easily. These herbs are handpicked and then mixed together to form a potent formula that can reverse kidney failure. There are a large number of kidney patients who are looking for a cure for kidney diseases, which is pain-free and inexpensive. When they are unable to find one they are driven towards dialysis and transplant.  Nephrotic syndrome Ayurvedic treatment is made up of powerful herbs that are mixed together to form a powerful combination. This formula provides relief, helps in rejuvenation of the red blood cells and damaged parts of the kidneys. It also helps in the formation of new red blood cells. It repairs the glomeruli, the blood vessels that have been damaged as a result of nephrotic syndrome. Doctor Puneet Dhawan who oversees the nephritic syndrome ayurvedic medicine and treatment, is a kidney specialist. His insistence on Ayurvedic medicine arises from the fact that this treatment unlike Allopath has zero side effects and is beneficial in reviving the patient’s form and energy. It is obviously important to focus on the diet while undergoing Ayurvedic treatment.  Karma Ayurveda helps patients live a disease free life.
