Is education really necessary to be successful in life?

Education is Important

Of course it is. If you want an explanation, you can understand this through a simple example. Take an illiterate person and an educated person, compare them. What do you find? An illiterate person is the one who cannot read or write, but still he can work and can earn money. Then, what is the difference between being educated and not being educated? The difference is in the life-style. Education lets us know the world in a detailed manner and teaches us to live the life in a proper way. A man without an aim or goal in life also lives his life, but then, his existence is of no purpose. Education makes you enable to decide a goal in the life. It gives you a proper reason to live, and then, teaches you the right way to achieve it.

But, is education necessary?

Many people will say that they are not sure. Actually, they are right. When, we talk about necessity, there can be different aspects of that. Education is necessary for what, for jobs, for life, for society or for anything else? You can still get a job in India even if you are not educated, but then, you may not get enough rights. Education gives you right to speak for your right. What is right is right, but how are you supposed to know that if you are not educated? How will you protest against bad things if you are not able to judge the difference between right and wrong? Education makes you enable in that too. Education makes you enable to fight for what is right. If you know the system, you can be a part of it or can change it completely. Many people think that education is meant only to get a job. Those people never understood the meaning of being educated. Education is not only meant for a job, but it is meant for life, to give it the right direction.

Being successful or unsuccessful depends a lot on a person itself irrespective of its education level. Education just provides you a support to lead the stairs of success. You can still be successful without proper education, but then, you may not know the importance and value of your success.
