Ireland has a lot to offer international companies. There are many benefits to bringing your business to Ireland, from our low corporate tax rate to our highly skilled and adaptable workforce. Invest in Ireland to avail so many benefits.

Intel, Twitter, Pfizer, Citi, Huawei, Takeda, Fujitsu, Novartis, and Trend Micro are just a few of the world's premier high-performance corporations based in Ireland. In addition, the government is aiming to be a global leader in the Internet of Things, Big Data, ICT Skills, Energy Efficiency, Health Innovation, and Cloud Computing.

Ireland has established itself as a preferred investment location for many global corporations in recent years, which is unsurprising given Ireland's pro-business atmosphere. We discussed some of the contributing elements to Ireland's expanding FDI investment in our recent blog, Ireland Continues To Attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).

Ireland's EU and Eurozone membership gives it easy access to the EU internal market. Ireland will be the only English-speaking EU member with a legal system founded on common law principles after Brexit. Ireland has been one of the most popular destinations for foreign investment due to these two criteria, among others.

Ireland continues to be a desirable destination for FDI. Ireland was ranked first in the Eurozone, fifth in the OECD, and seventh in the world for overall competitiveness in 2016, according to the IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook.

There are numerous legal advantages to establishing a business in Ireland. We'll look at six of them in more detail below.

1. Getting Started

The process of forming a new Irish corporation or registering a branch is simple and rapid. According to the World Bank's current 'Doing Business' report, Ireland is the most business-friendly country in Europe.

2. Taxation

A cornerstone of Ireland's attractiveness as a corporate destination is its 12.5 percent tax rate on commercial activities, tax exemption for collective investment undertakings, and asset finance regime.

3. Banking and financial services

Mutual recognition of licenses and the ability to transfer those licenses from one European state to another are the cornerstones of the Single European Market. Ireland is an appealing platform for banks and other financial services institutions seeking access to the Single European Market, such as investment enterprises, insurance undertakings, payment institutions, and electronic money institutions. There are now 22 banks functioning in Ireland, with over 400 additional in the pipeline. In Ireland, more than half of the world's top 50 banks have overseas operations.

4. System of Common Law

Ireland is a common-law country. It is thought to be more adaptable and less prescriptive than many civil law countries.

5. Workplace

Irish employment law is thought to strike a good balance between providing a business-friendly set of laws for employers and providing adequate protection for employees.

6. Alternative Dispute Resolution

The Irish Commercial Court is a specialty court dedicated to resolving business issues quickly. Cases are handled by skilled business judges who hear them. Approximately 90% of actions are resolved in a year. Ireland has adopted the UNCITRAL Model Law on International Commercial Arbitration and is a signatory to the New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards, which was signed in 1958.

Furthermore, the immigrant investor programme Ireland provides excellent health and lifestyle benefits to investors and their families. Irish universities are known for their research, especially in the fields of mathematics and chemistry, where they are among the best in the world. Ireland is a tremendously fulfilling country to live, work, and flourish in because of its temperate climate, state-of-the-art healthcare, and rich culture.
