Introducing The New A1 HP Designjet T830 Multifunctional Printerby Liz Seyi Digital marketing manager
When you are seeking a compact, economical and easy-to-use multifunctional printer and scanner for an architect’s, construction or design office, why should the HP DesignJet T830 be your choice?
A true all-in-one machine capable of scanning, printing and copying, the T830 is ideal for small and medium-sized workgroups. It offers such advantages as a small footprint, a 26-second print speed for A1 drawings and 1 GB of memory. This single-roll printer is also Wi-Fi-enabled and able to use four ink types – dye-based C, M and Y and pigment-based mK.
With such other benefits as a one-year warranty and compatibility with media ranging from 60gsm and 280gsm, the T830 is a trusted and convenient solution for all manner of applications. What’s more, it is available from ourselves here at Prizma Graphics for a competitive price.
Which paper is suitable for use with the T830?
Various papers – as are also available from the Prizma Graphics online store – will enable you to gain the most from this recently introduced multifunction printer.
For mono and line colour CAD work, for example, we would recommend the use of 80gsm and 90gsm uncoated plotter paper. For colour presentations, we advise you to choose 100gsm, 120gsm, 140gsm, 160gsm or 180gsm matt coated inkjet paper, whereas colour posters will look most impressive when 190gsm and 260gsm satin and gloss photo paper is used.
However, when producing colour work, it is important to bear in mind the limitations due to the machine only having four ink options.

The T830 also makes HP DesignJet quality possible in small-format sizes, with half-size documents able to be printed via the 50-sheet A4/A3 input tray.
