What would be my salary?

You’ll be paid for the work you do, so you've to be patient about it. Usually salary range is given in the job description but if not, the interviewer will ultimately ask the job seeker about this. Be ready for a negotiation and show a flexibility when discussing such matters.

The candidate can even make a mistake by asking about any benefits other than salary, if there are, these would be told. You don’t want to give a greedy impression to the interviewer, so never ask questions which shows that you’re there only to make money for yourself only.

How many hours would I be working?

Again, this is mostly mentioned in the job description, but if not then it would be detailed before the interview finishes, so keep yourself calm. The usual working hours are 8-9 hours a day for 5/6 days a week. Every job requires employees to work more than their normal working hours on special occasions, so this should always be kept in mind and be ready to accept them. It’s not necessary that you would be paid for these overtime, as overtime isn't included in every company’s policy.

Some jobs are more time requiring than others, so this factor should also be kept in mind before entering for an interview.

How many candidate are there for this job post?

This is not related to you, so you don’t need the answer to this. It doesn't matter how many candidates are there, all that matter is how well you’re prepared for that job interview.

This is one of the most unprofessional and a question that should not be asked for during the interview. It’s candidates job to gather basic or may be a detailed information about the company business, CEO/Owner, Directors/Partners/MDs and the key staff, the location of head offices and other regional offices and much more. The information a job seeker has about the company where he/she is applying for any job post, the better it’s for that candidate.

This is also not the question to be asked by a job seeker. The interviewer, however, can tell why that job post is still vacant or what made them to create a vacancy for this job.
