The camp is a weeklong summer program that starts on the 1st of August and ends on the 6th. It includes various classes on launching a podcast, and using social media platforms to build a supportive network.

Camp WIT offers teens the tools needed to improve their mental and emotional health, and points them towards success in the field of entrepreneurship. It also improves their technical skills by teaching them about pitching, fundraising, and digital marketing. The camp is joined by a large group of entrepreneurs, career leaders, authors, actors, influencers, and news anchors.

Upon completing the program, teens earn up to six units of college credit from UCSD, depending on their performance during the camp.

All the sessions are recorded and can be accessed at any time during the period of the program.

About WIT:

WIT, which stands for Whatever It Takes, is a youth entrepreneurship platform that was founded in 2009 by Sarah Hernholm. It aims to create a strong community by giving the youth the opportunity to participate in leadership roles and improve their interpersonal skills. It is the only social entrepreneurship and leadership platform that offers teens college credits upon completing any of the available programs.

“Some teens come to WIT with a business idea and a strong desire to lead, while others find us because they are interested in learning more about entrepreneurship and how to step into more leadership roles. WIT provides the space for any teen to create an impact. We are excited to play a part in the development of young leaders and entrepreneurs,” says Hernholm.

With over 20 entrepreneurs from multiple fields, Camp WIT gives teens the chance to build a powerful network and get inspired. They also get the opportunity to pitch their business idea and win over $1,000 in cash prizes.
