Importance and Types of cranes used in construction industry

The construction industry employs the usage of various types of cranes depending on their type and area of work with technology bringing in a variety of cranes suited toward meeting the demands in different areas of work within a construction site. ● Vehicle mounted cranes:

These are another category of cranes that can be moved from place to place depending on their use. These vehicle mounted cranes are easy to transport and through their use flexibility is ensured in a construction site.


● Rough terrain cranes:

These are the type of cranes used for managing work in terrains not suitable for normal construction work or usage of placated cranes. They are attached to vehicles engineered toward handling rough terrain.

The above four types of cranes are the most commonly used amongst several other crane types in the construction industry.
